Pros

Designing Success (DS) has been in business for many years, due to keeping their finger on the pulse of what their customers need! DS is a fast-paced atmosphere, where the customer comes first. We are small but mighty because we remain on the forefront of what case management means to housing authorities. We stay on top of all HUD regulations, and adjust the software to meet new requirements immediately, often before the housing authorities know what changes are coming. We are very focused on moving forward with new updates to the software, and looking to maximum outcomes for administration, while minimizing the workload on the frontline worker.

Cons

Because DS is a small company, we are asked to wear many hats when it comes to meeting the customer needs and teamwork is vital. If you are looking for a slower pace work environment DS might not be the right fit for you.

Pros

I've worked for DS for more than ten years and I can say without reservation it is the best job with the best boss I've ever had. I think the most impressive (and appreciated) aspect of management is their genuine concern for the professional and personal welfare of every single employee. DS is a small company that succeeds in making its employees feel they are part of a tight-knit family. Everybody I currently work with has been with the company for more than eight years, which says a lot about its stability and desirability. Throughout my tenure, we employees have received raises and bonuses on a regular basis, without our ever requesting such or it being a part of any work agreement. Throughout the years the owners have always put our needs above their own, and I know for a fact that they have gone without compensation in some periods so that they could continue to meet their commitments to us. You simply could not ask for better people.

Cons

From my perspective, there are no cons. It's a dream job at a dream company. That's all I can say, really. Everyday I thank my lucky stars I have this job. I often work nights and weekends, not because it's expected of me but because I am motivated to contribute more and I want to show my gratitude for the opportunity.
