The company culture is deeply toxic and unprofessional, with management consistently treating employees as incompetent. Leadership openly insults team members, helicopter-manages even experienced employees, and disregards personal boundaries. Promoting awful people to the top with no experience in management and empathy has driven your best talent away. They make you doubt your own intelligence and work you to the ground in spite of working after hours. You are at the mercy of whichever mean manager you are assigned to and they dictate what you work on, when you get time off and when you leave the office. It's every man for themselves and everyone feeds on this energy, making you feel isolated and like a pariah until you realise it's an attitude you need to have to survive DesignScene. Emphasis on survive. They have no respect for due processes and make up the rules about probations and performance reviews as they go. Working here is like being amongst a pack of playground bullies who play cruel mental games and bully you and veil this behaviour as "beneficial" for your development and performance.
