Pros

Designpac is part of 1-800 Flowers so you get a discount to be used online

Cons

The company and culture of DesignPac is shameful. The leadership team makes their own rules and decides who these rules do or don't apply to. There is obvious favoritism to certain employees that include bribes and more opportunities for no apparent reason. Managers need training on how to manage, the turnover rate is high in certain departments based solely on how managers treat their own team members. “Kudos” is never given to the employees who are actually deserving of the work they are doing, instead it is a game of favorites. The head of the office is sexist and has had multiple HR complaints against them, yet continues to undermine, manipulate, and treats employees unfairly from their “desk” in another state. It is common knowledge that morale is gone, and no one seems to have any idea how to improve this. Summer hours were taken away (again) due to a "flexible working schedule" that includes 1 work from home day a week (if your department allows) and being available whenever management decides they need something from you (evenings, aggressively early mornings, Saturdays, Sundays, etc.). The office is infested with bugs, the ceiling leaks when it rains, theft happens in the parking lot, and the bathrooms are so gross employees would rather hold it for the whole day than enter the bathroom.

Pros

Discounts on products at sister companies

Cons

Too many to list. This company supports many of it's sister companies and upper management leans on it too heavily. Many of the companies under the 1800Flowers umbrella are not doing well and several employees are jumping ship or getting laid off. Bypass this company and look elsewhere for employment.
