Design Distributors is a growing, fast-paced, direct mail and print marketing solutions company based in Deer Park, Long Island. I am a current employee and joined the team in June of 2022. Since starting at Design Distributors, I have learned how to use computer programs such as Print Stream and Postal One. A day in the life of a DDI employee includes an 8:30 am start, daily production meeting, scheduling, estimating print and mail jobs, being a liaison between the company and clients, and mandatory hour lunchThe owner, Adam Avrick, personally knows his employees. All employees are required to be in the office during the week. WFH is available on a case-by-case basis with the manager's approval.

Free Pizza once a month, good coworker rapport, they’re actually profitable

As costs of living on Long Island and inflation have gone up, salaries at Design Distributors have not. In the Controllers own words: “the only thing you’re going to get here is free pizza once a month”. They make money, but don’t share it.
