Pros

Interesting sales pitch/program. Prior to interest rates going up it was a deal for some customers and fixed a lot of problems

Cons

They got rid of the key features that set themselves apart as a solar company. The program is misleading to customers and you are forced to pitch to people that often time WILL NEVER GET THE TAX CREDIT and therefore will ultimately cost them money. That’s IF the company follows thru on their install.

All the staff . . . managers and teammates were exceptional. Supportive. Encouraging. Lots of great interaction.

Cons

Company does not confirm appointments because management says that they have too many people cancel. That means there is something wrong with confirmation press. My first customers were put out when I came knocking at their door. Since there was no confirmation call, they assumed I wasn't coming. Design 1 also has the philosophy that you don't leave their home until they ask you to leave. That means multiple call to your team leader. If they don't make an $80,000 on the spot, all the rebates and discounts are taken away. That makes the company look unprofessional. The company rarely has any Be Back sales. I can see why. I tried to validate the financial statistics that are used in the sales presentation. I could not. They appeared to be overinflated and misleading. I asked the company to tell me where I could find the information to back-up their numbers. They offered no response. I am very dissappointed. I was really looking forward to a successful career with Design 1.
