Pros

Honestly, I'm struggling to find any. There's not even a stable salary to rely on now.

Cons

The current state is a complete disaster. Communication is poor, and the plan seems half-baked with less people to do more work. We're expected to trust management during these times, but that trust is long gone. Despite being reassured otherwise, we're now forced to compete with each other to remain employed. It appears select few from the old days made some good money, even as they disregard the loyal staff who helped them succeed—though it's all being done on aging technology. There are daily critical incidents, likely due to the outdated products that are all interconnected. These systems collapse with the slightest issue, and staff are blamed and financially penalised. Meanwhile, anyone with deep product knowledge who could help has left without documenting anything. Morale and energy among employees are at an all-time low. We put everything on the line and moved family here for this job, and now I'm faced with the prospect of relocating again and starting over. It's heartbreaking to see a company that was once great and people-focused turn into this. This used to be the best place to work three years ago, and I was proud to be part of it. I never imagined it would end up like this—mismanagement from the mothership. You'll likely burn out or be pushed out by incompetent managers. The future here is uncertain, the legacy products are delicate and complex, and all the good people have left. The recruiters might sell you a sweet dream during the interview, but the reality is far different, or at least for me it was. Don’t be fooled—trust your instincts.

Pros

The system is pretty massive and supports products in many markets, so there are plenty of opportunities for growth in almost any area. Also many brilliant people working here.

Cons

The company is global so working across time zones can be difficult.
