Great place to work and develop professionally

None that comes to mind at this time

The money (primarily the opportunity to work off-duty) and benefits are the only things going for this place. If you want to be busy and do some actual police work it's the best spot in the region, but being pro-active here could ruin you.

No backing from the brass, city counsel, DA's office, or the voters. DEI seems to dictate movement, promotions, and discipline.
