Pros

Beautiful gardens to walk around, Benefits with part time status, entry level workers are great to work with. The library is cool.

Cons

Lack of diversity. Lack of support from managers. Entitlement. Lack of experienced managers. Managers are more concerned with optics to leadership. There is no closing manager. Toxic work environment enabled by leadership. HR is a constant for the gift shop since managers lack experience and labor law knowledge. HR is toxic as well and will not improve culture and knowledge base for managers. You will have to figure out a lot on your own and/or be brought into HR for doing so. Managers reinvent the wheel and change procedures an policies to fit their whim. A constant and deeply passive aggressive culture that enables managers gossiping about their employees. I was warned that I would have to look out for myself in terms of benefits and pay as a former employee was cheated out of her retirement. I was told do so as "those guys won't help you." The two guys in management promote cronyism. Sexism exists here.
