Pros
Delta Defense is a people-first employer. A core value at Delta is Healthy - not just physical but mental as well. There is a fully-stocked fitness center in the building that always has someone in it. Different groups are in there before sun rise and others after dark. There are 2 clinical therapists ON STAFF who have the job of working 1:1 with Delta employees to ensure they are healthy mentally as well! I have personally worked with one of them and can honestly say I am a different person because of it.
Another pro to working at Delta is the focus they have on developing their people. One of the first things my then manager asked me in a 1:1 was to fill out an Individual Development Plan. part of that document had me already thinking about where in the company I wanted to go, what I needed to do to get there, and how my manager could help me achieve that goal. So many Delta employees started their career here in the call center, and are now enjoying positions as supervisors, , sales people, directors, and even regional managers!
Another major pro of working for Delta is work life balance. I have worked a hybrid schedule the last two years. On a normal week, I worked from home on Mondays and Fridays, and worked from the office Tuesday through Thursday. The balance was great! I have 3 little kids at home and there have been days that I have to pivot and work from home a different day. My manager was always supportive!
Cons
The only con I can think of is that due to the size of Delta, many employees work fully remote so they don't get to embrace the culture as much as those of us lucky enough to work out of HQ.
