Pros

Delta Defense is a people-first employer. A core value at Delta is Healthy - not just physical but mental as well. There is a fully-stocked fitness center in the building that always has someone in it. Different groups are in there before sun rise and others after dark. There are 2 clinical therapists ON STAFF who have the job of working 1:1 with Delta employees to ensure they are healthy mentally as well! I have personally worked with one of them and can honestly say I am a different person because of it. Another pro to working at Delta is the focus they have on developing their people. One of the first things my then manager asked me in a 1:1 was to fill out an Individual Development Plan. part of that document had me already thinking about where in the company I wanted to go, what I needed to do to get there, and how my manager could help me achieve that goal. So many Delta employees started their career here in the call center, and are now enjoying positions as supervisors, , sales people, directors, and even regional managers! Another major pro of working for Delta is work life balance. I have worked a hybrid schedule the last two years. On a normal week, I worked from home on Mondays and Fridays, and worked from the office Tuesday through Thursday. The balance was great! I have 3 little kids at home and there have been days that I have to pivot and work from home a different day. My manager was always supportive!

Cons

The only con I can think of is that due to the size of Delta, many employees work fully remote so they don't get to embrace the culture as much as those of us lucky enough to work out of HQ.

Pros

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I work at the headquarters and it’s wonderful! I have worked at a few companies and there is a night and day difference - Work life balance is great - Wonderful coworkers - Great work/team building outings - Leadership invests in professional development - Lots of opportunities to be in West Bend, all paid for by Delta - Delta is very picky with who is hired to ensure everyone fits the culture - Everyone is super kind and easy to get along with. Also, everyone is very skilled - C suite is very open and honest. Company wide meetings every week that allow everyone to be informed on what is happening. - Benefits are amazing: yearly stipend, generous pto (no problems using it), hybrid or wfh options, good health insurance, USCCA membership, good pay - The dress code is very casual - Paid time off to volunteer! Plus donation matching - The owners are VERY generous

Cons

- The hours can get long some days - Very open floor plan at HQ. This can be a pro or con depending on preferences - The CEO isn’t super involved in day to day operations - Not a con to me, but you must be supportive of the second amendment and feel comfortable around firearms. - If you are someone who likes to do the bare minimum, this probably isn’t the place for you - You will need to pass the culture test and write a values essay. Again, there is a high standard for hiring.

Pros

Good culture at corporate level

Cons

No support or culture at the local level- pretty much on your own. No Back up. Be prepared to work 7 days a week at all hours of the day or night.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for your time with us. We are always evolving in how we support our Sales team, including dedicated leaders in each geographic region and stronger local coverage, so team members are supported. We also want to clarify that we pay based on national pay markets, and that Sales roles include uncapped performance-based commission. Thank you for your time with us. We hope you have found happiness and success since your departure.
