Pros

Paychecks cash, and they have an hr department

Cons

cult like company culture. Very odd and controlling. This is a company that values management's egos and asks you to go out of your way to not offend their thin skinned executive staff. Also, don't mention the word nepotism very loudly. Every relative but the family dog works for this company and they are trying to work her in as a mascot.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. As you know, one of our core values is to “deal with problems head on”, so we encourage any and all concerns to be expressed and addressed - including anything that may involve the executive team. Employees are encouraged to schedule a CEO chat with Tim which is one of several ways we put action behind those words to enable employees to do so. We are very proud of Tim’s leadership as our CEO and the fact that our employees, members, instructor network, official partners and many other organizations want to follow and be a part of Tim’s vision to prepare responsible American gun owners to avoid danger, save lives and keep their loved ones safe. Our co-founders started this company at their kitchen table, and they sought people who believed in our mission to join them. We are proud of the family members who chose to bring their talents to Delta, just as much as we are proud of our entire Delta team. A team that we care about like family while operating as an elite sports team. Everyone has a role and is accountable to deliver results in alignment with our core values. Most of our leadership roles are actually not family members. There are 3 of 96 roles held by family members today, and all 3 are well qualified to perform their roles. As for dogs, it’s true; in general our team consists of a large population of dog lovers! And team members do bring their furry friends to visit from time to time. We even have dog treats at our front desk so we are ready for our canine visitors.

Pros

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I work at the headquarters and it’s wonderful! I have worked at a few companies and there is a night and day difference - Work life balance is great - Wonderful coworkers - Great work/team building outings - Leadership invests in professional development - Lots of opportunities to be in West Bend, all paid for by Delta - Delta is very picky with who is hired to ensure everyone fits the culture - Everyone is super kind and easy to get along with. Also, everyone is very skilled - C suite is very open and honest. Company wide meetings every week that allow everyone to be informed on what is happening. - Benefits are amazing: yearly stipend, generous pto (no problems using it), hybrid or wfh options, good health insurance, USCCA membership, good pay - The dress code is very casual - Paid time off to volunteer! Plus donation matching - The owners are VERY generous

Cons

- The hours can get long some days - Very open floor plan at HQ. This can be a pro or con depending on preferences - The CEO isn’t super involved in day to day operations - Not a con to me, but you must be supportive of the second amendment and feel comfortable around firearms. - If you are someone who likes to do the bare minimum, this probably isn’t the place for you - You will need to pass the culture test and write a values essay. Again, there is a high standard for hiring.

Pros

Good culture at corporate level

Cons

No support or culture at the local level- pretty much on your own. No Back up. Be prepared to work 7 days a week at all hours of the day or night.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for your time with us. We are always evolving in how we support our Sales team, including dedicated leaders in each geographic region and stronger local coverage, so team members are supported. We also want to clarify that we pay based on national pay markets, and that Sales roles include uncapped performance-based commission. Thank you for your time with us. We hope you have found happiness and success since your departure.
