Pros

Wonderful coworkers. Schedule ALWAYS full. Lots of opportunities for paid CEUs.

Cons

PTO is not paid out at LMT rate, but rather, at staff rate which was somewhere between 11-14 dollars an hour. After 5 years of employment, my hourly rate only went from 22-24 dollars per hour.

Thanks for your honest review. As the owner and founder of Deep Roots, I recognize that I've made a fair amount of mistakes along the way and it's important to me to be upfront about that. One of the biggest mistakes was setting our service rates far too low when we first opened. The result hurt everybody's income, especially mine, and it took years to catch up. Today, I'm happy to report that the two weeks of PTO that everyone gets after the first year has been paid at the full rate since January 2022, our wages run from 24-32 dollars per hour, and every therapist here has received at least a 1 dollar per hour raise for each of the last 3 years. We pay an extra 30 minutes on every massage now and every therapist has an unlimited opportunity to choose their own subjects for one on one trainings at the full rate of pay. With that, I guess I'm off to raise our rates again! Change is good.
