Pros
Able to get a decent wage if you are wiling to do 3x the work as others. Great job to get experience in manufacturing, because they will hire ANYONE. Cons fresh out of prison, foreigners, total idiots. Last I knew they hired through temp agencies (QPS most recently) if you're interested. Most duties are very easy, basic labor/loading and unloading, sanding, labeling for entry level positions. So easy it's pathetic that the majority of the people that get hired can't do it. But I guess those people don't care anyway.
Cons
Supervisors don't care. No attempt to supervise, they force all duties on the line leads, and stay in their office all day. Line leads do the work of 3 people, every day, at least on the powercoat line at P Hill. Last I knew, people on presses were working 12 hour days, for over a year, 6 days a week. Forced overtime, told within a couple hours of leaving for the weekend, that you needed to come in Saturday. They would hold management meetings on Thursdays and "forget" to tell us they need to work Saturday until the last minute. Unsafe working conditions, if OSHA knew everything they did, they would shut them down instantly. The owner has let his children take over most duties for the company, and they don't care about the employees at all, they have been expanding the company, but sacrificing quality and employees in the process. The owner is a good guy who does infact care about the employees, but he doesn't play a big role in the company anymore.
