Pros

Opportunity to learn quickly. Some really great people. Flexible scheduling.

Cons

When I started the company was fun and focused and had a family feel, then one of the senior management left and everything got progressively worse. The new senior management likes to talk a good game about culture, but they forget the number 1 aspect of taking care of their employees. They try to preach about work life balance but you often don't have time to leave your seat because the metrics you have to hit are so extreme. They are extremely metric focused, expecting you to have billable time for at least 7 1/2 hours of your 9 hour shift, Originally they gave performance based bonuses for reaching and exceeding the metrics. Over time they made that more and more difficult and eventually removed that completely. Don't expect an increase in compensation after a year, even after a great performance review, they will continue to give excuses while increasing your workload. They force you to sit through quarterly meetings so you can hear how awesome the CEO and COO are and how much fun they have going to conferences. They literally brag about how great everyone thinks they are, while clients are getting neglected, it takes 2 days to call anyone back because they cant keep techs, a big disaster all around. Most of the bigger clients are a huge mess and difficult to work with, the account managers who handle those accounts don't do anything to help clean up the situation.

We truly appreciate the time you took to provide such a detailed review of us. It seems as though your experience was not aligned with what DIT is doing, and has continued to do, throughout our growth. In fact, we are HYPER focused on our employees, their growth, providing a positive work-life balance and work environment. During the last quarter of 2022 and continuing to the present, we have been top grading our technicians and working hard to achieve a team of A players as well as restructuring our core values and communication requirements to be sure we are providing employees with the proper guardrails and our customers with the best-in-class service they deserve. We pay over 70% of employee health cost, offer unlimited time off, roadmaps for skill improvement and frequent internal raises and promotions. We are extremely focused on the health and well-being of all our clients, and we understand that happy employees = happy clients. Metrics are a necessary part of not only reconciling our cost of service but are necessary to review technician job performance and growth. Our metrics are well within the standard operating practices for an MSP. We are disappointed to hear about your concerns from a Glassdoor review and would love to hear more about your experience. Please reach out to schedule a time by emailing us at peopleops@dedicatedit.com

Pros

Dedicated IT offers a collaborative environment that encourages the technicians to expand their knowledge and skills. As an on-site technician, there is freedom to bring new ideas that will take pressure off of the client and provide simplicity to the technicians during troubleshooting efforts. Dedicated IT has an "all-hands-on-deck" approach to resolving company-wide incidents that empowers their on-site technicians to be confident.

Cons

As an on-site technician outside of Dedicated IT's HQ, it is a challenge to feel included in office festivities and to become acquainted with peers. However, DIT does make events available to employees residing outside of Florida to attend events and will setup virtual events as well, such as the virtual game nights for out-of-state employees.
