Pros

You get food in the office.

Cons

Abusive and run by the biggest megalomaniac you will probably witness ever. Honestly. The company should be shutdown. Preference to Employing Male only. No scope for growth. Limited Salaries. Extremely Sexist and Gender Biased. Abuse of power and authority. Suppression and borderline forced submission of employees. No regard for labour laws. The combined ego of the company would put Donald Trump to shame. Employees constantly being berated and put down. Management is too busy spending company money on extra businesses with nothing left to actually pay their employees. Gross mismanagement. Management has seen a bit of success and feels that they have the right to talk down to people, abuse, shout and manipulate the employees. Overall a disgusting workplace which for the sake of humanity needs to be shutdown.

Hello, That's one colourful and hilarious review! We can understand that this is not coming from someone who has been a part of Deckor. Let's see how. "Abusive and run by the biggest megalomaniac you will probably witness ever. " - Our team disagrees and had a good laugh when they read this. For the benefit of the readers, we are a small team of tight 20+ individuals out of which majority have been working with us for more than five years now. In a normal world, no one wants to work with a megalomaniac. Maybe something's wrong with our people? "Honestly. The company should be shutdown." - Let's agree to disagree. We're a self sustained, profitable and one of the best CGI agencies in the country. Why should we shut down the company over a misinformed individual? "Preference to Employing Male only." - We're a design agency which is specialised in CGI. If you actually look at the male/female ratio in CGI education in the country, you will have your answer. FYI - Our two senior most positions after the CEO are occupied by women :) "No scope for growth." "Limited Salaries." - As a small studio, we are proud to be amongst the best paymasters in the industry. Even more than the MNC's. Even during tough times such as the pandemic, our employees received theirs with no deductions. There are yearly appraisals which might even entice you to join us :) "Extremely Sexist and Gender Biased." - You can ask the good ladies at Deckor. Reach out to them on Linkedin, but don't be a creep. "Abuse of power and authority." "Suppression and borderline forced submission of employees." - It's 2022. No one can make the employees submit by force in this time and era and certainly not for the longevity that most of our team has stayed on. "No regard for labour laws." - This one is our favourite! We're actually one of the fewer design studios in the "entire country" to have just the 5 days work week. Our team comes on time and leaves on time except of-course when there's work load which is probably 25 days in a total of 365 days and the weekends (Because we party on Fridays)! All the compliances are taken care from day 1, we're afraid :) "The combined ego of the company would put Donald Trump to shame." - Loved the analogy! You are making our readers believe that we're actually a much bigger company than we really are. Thank you <3 "Employees constantly being berated and put down." - Please read some of the above responses again. "Management is too busy spending company money on extra businesses with nothing left to actually pay their employees." "Gross mismanagement." - Hey, are you sure you're not our accountant? Last I checked his written English wasn't as good as yours but his numbers definitely are. Since the inception of the company, there hasn't been a single delay in paying out our salaries, including the pandemic and demonetisation. That would be 84 months of impeccable payout since the beginning. Try reaching out to our employees. They will tell you :) The extra businesses, kind sir are also owned by the company. That's what good businesses do. they diversify, don't they? "Management has seen a bit of success and feels that they have the right to talk down to people, abuse, shout and manipulate the employees." - Management/Company has literally shaken up our humble CGI ecosystem single handedly and we'd call it more than "a bit of success". The little bit of success that you claim is actually the result of team that has stuck together in the thick and thin and has built our brand with a lot of grit, sweat and tears. We strongly believe that you are unaware of those sentiments, like you are unaware of our culture. "Overall a disgusting workplace which for the sake of humanity needs to be shutdown." - We welcome you to come hangout in our studios. Please come on Fridays though. Our menu is Cholle Bhature for Fridays and it's to die for. Please don't come if you don't like dogs as we have a permanent resident puppy in the studio. "Quit. Save what little of your Soul you have left. If you have any left at all." "Otherwise get an education, you are severely in need of it with the aim of learning business ethics, people management, anger management, budgeting and resource allocation, humility, shame and hopefully be able to shed the sheer and borderline personality disorder of an Ego that exists." - We'll quit when we're a billion dollar company. You see, our board would not let us quit before that :) We are soulful individuals and don't wish to call anyone out, even though we're aware. It is evident that you have been mislead about our company's culture and plans for the future or anything that made us who we are today. Irrespective of your senseless rant, we wish you the best of health and mental peace. P.S.- A small suggestion from our end, please sort out any personal complications privately and not hide behind an anonymous review. Cheers, Team Deckor

Pros

We get to do unique bits of work for big clients. The work atmosphere is friendly, yet it's challenging. We have afternoon Lunch and food in the evening, sometimes beers & pizzas after work. Everybody helps each other intending to get the best creative results possible and deliver on time. The innovative standard and demand are very high, and no shortcut. There is no sense of competition amongst the team, just healthy energy that drives everyone to their best performance. Good annual raise (If you work sincerely).

Cons

It's not a 9-5 place where you can drop your pen and leave on time every day. The nature of the industry demands meeting deadlines and putting in more effort to get the job done. The non-corporate culture is not for everyone. Lacking professionalism under pressure, can be solved through training. More leaders and hierarchy levels are required to delegate pressure from higher-ups.

Pros

It is indeed one of the best places I have worked in. Friendly environment, The team is great and supportive. Got to learn a lot while working with different clients. I got to work in varied projects which kept me on my toes and filled me with new experiences. Good quality homelike food also made life easier for a bachelor like me. Leadership is approachable and nobullshit. Negligible office politics, although there are always one or two people ugh. JD (office doggo) keeps everyone busy and is a vibe. Its a small team so Its fun and friendly environment, Not at all corporatish!

Cons

It's a small team so sometimes we all have to wear multiple hats and keep learning. Its exciting but stressful too sometimes. The positives outweigh the negatives tho. Better project management and defined pipelines could be a positive. But there is so much diversity in the projects I'm not sure how it could be solved. There should be an HR so we don't need to go to founder for every small request. Even though he's approachable it still gets little intimidating ngl.
