Thank you for the feedback. As a former employee, you know I value our people above all else, and feedback like this helps drive change at the company.
Since you worked at Deck Commerce, I know you share our core values of integrity, respect, teamwork, and attitude, and you reference our strong culture in your review. Therefore, I imagine your decision to write a review like this was difficult and reflective of an unsatisfactory experience leaving the company. I am sorry we let you down.
You do have some basic details wrong. It is not accurate that “the organization is without a single trace of growth in three quarters.” We have won and launched multiple new customers this year, with many more set to launch in the upcoming quarters. We have a fantastic team that extends far beyond a handful of legacy leaders, and we remain the clear market leader for OMS.
It is true that we had big expectations coming out of our Series A capital raise, and we are in the exciting early stages of blazing new trails. As challenges are encountered it shouldn’t be misconstrued as “a turn for the worst,” but rather a healthy opportunity to learn and adjust. I understand this approach makes some people uncomfortable, but I unapologetically maintain big expectations and embrace a continuous improvement philosophy.
Lastly, your review makes it clear that you are a thoughtful and articulate person; in fact, the kind of person I am sorry to see leave the company. Even though we’ve parted ways professionally, I still value you as a person and would welcome the opportunity to speak further offline.
