Pros

A very down-to-earth Assistant Store Manager. Good team members who are kind to each other.

Cons

Culture of pure crazy! We sell clothing but anyone would think we were curing cancer with the endless whatsapp messaging. It starts at 6am and goes through to 11pm at night. Occasionally even starts earlier and ends later! Endless things to read in our own time. Only got 3 hrs per/wk in work and saw one poor woman only get 3 hrs a month! Super- clicky 'cool girls' and if you dont fit in then you dont get a look in. No acknowledgement of a job well done or meeting kpi's or selling add ons and no rewards, such as increased hours or preferential shifts for a job well done. High Value Sales are near impossible to obtain & sometimes you can spend an hour with a customer only to see the sale rung up by someone else, so they get the credit for it. The manager knows & doesn't care unless if its one of her favorites. No clothing allowance if you're too low on the totem pole & pressure to spend minuscule earnings in store because 'what we wear, we sell'.

Pros

- The team I built. - Instore relationships.

Cons

- The little empathy from management. - The lack of care for anyone outside of head office. - There is no chance of moving up in the company from instore to head office. - The company cares so much about their public image although they neglect their team members. - Head office and management seem to forget that we are the reason there is a company. - There is no support for ASM/SM
