- Chaotic - the organisation in this place is terrible. Those leading the foundation have little business experience. They are developers that got lucky and pass around the CEO/senior exec role amongst themselves every few years. (I won’t go in to why that is) - Lots of back stabbing. - Very woke, full of grifters that wouldn’t last 5 minutes in a real job. - Penny pinching, and doing anything they can not to pay your bonuses. - Awful onboarding and leaving processes. - Questionable finance practices. - Political.

Flexible full-remote work. Great engineering managers and very talented and easy-going co-workers. A lot to learn.

The new leadership made a lot of decisions without having a clear vision. The bear market made cutting costs the top priority. New leadership changed proven workflows to an experimental high-pressure way of working. Hugely detrimental to work-life balance if you end up working on the worst of the tasks on legacy code. There have been a lot of layoffs, and someone feel like most of the layoffs have been those who openly disagreed with the new leadership. Oh, also, the 30-day notice period in the contract is worth nothing. You can get laid off today starting from today with no severance. Well played legal team.
