Pros
Great fit for you if you're a self-starter, willing to ask for the next assignment, & especially if you have some OCD tendencies. Hard work expected but fairly flexible. Very few micro-managers, free to do your work without having to look over your shoulder. Unlimited opportunities to move up or around in the company. Good benefits & HSA contribution. Good PTO policy. Paid maternity leave policy. Several charity/community outreach opportunities throughout the year.
Cons
Significantly better PTO for salaried employees. Takes hourly employees 5 yrs to increase PTO days. 2.5% max 401K match. Lower pay rates than in private accounting (but the flexibility, job security, benefits, etc. are worth it).
