Decent place to work, but not much room for advancement. - Associate DeWayne's Employee Review

Pros

It's a very clean facility, and the retail store has a lot of fun people to work with. The mid-level managers tend to be friendly and willing to coach employees to further productivity.

Cons

There's really no room for advancement or promotion, and the company is only about making money. Upper management seems to see employeese as very disposable/replaceable. Raises/bonuses for the floor staff are rare, which is upsetting considering the improvements they do on the store itself (fixing things that aren't broken, in a sense). Additionally, most of the upper management have the capacity to be jerks to employees. On several instances I've witnessed the owner himself lose his temper at an employee.

Pros

The employees are great to work with, and the owners create a close-knit, family-style environment.

Cons

I genuinely enjoyed working at DeWayne’s during my first few years with the company. I consistently received positive feedback for my work, collaborated effectively with my team, and contributed strong industry knowledge that helped move projects forward. I was always open to feedback and made a consistent effort to improve and grow in my role. After a management change, the work environment shifted significantly. Feedback became largely negative, and despite requesting clear guidance or examples on how to improve, follow-through was lacking. Team members raised concerns about management a couple of occasions, but no changes were made. Ultimately, I decided to leave the company in order to prioritize my well-being.
