Pros

A high degree of integrity as a school. Been teaching for them full-time and now part-time for 26 years. Was a better school though when it was just on-campus and each semester was 15 weeks long. Hands on experience with close interactions with professors is DeVry's strong suite card. This is true on campus but not as easy to facilitate online. The online division is very good. They strongly believe in the power and use of web meetings for the classes. That is a big plus!

Cons

Classes are 8 weeks long. I know this is a standard now but, it is difficult to learn in 8 weeks. Ten weeks would be better. For online classes, teachers should be able to create their own course shell. But the courses are standardized which means that the same assignments are reused. That leads to cheating problems.

Pros

DeVry Day was a wonderful example of our positive culture, meaningful work, and commitment to making a difference. Welcoming and congratulating graduates allowed me to celebrate their achievements firsthand and witness the impact of the support and resources DeVry provides throughout their educational journey. The event created a sense of community, recognition, and pride that reflected our dedication to student success. Seeing graduates and their families celebrate this milestone reinforced how our work contributes to helping students achieve their goals and create better futures for themselves

Cons

This event was nothing but spectacular!

Pros

Work from home, good benefits, paid time off & the pay.

Cons

They say it’s not a KPI based position but it is. They will not give commission because they say we should be in it for the students and not numbers but the position is solely based on numbers. This is not a warm, team friendly position. Even your team mates are in competition with you. You will work two Saturdays out of the month and sometimes even Sundays and they still won’t be satisfied with your work ethic.
