Pros
I worked in the Hong Kong office and everyone there are friendly and helpful, most of the time. Very little politics within the HK office, which is rare. The manager is very willing to teach despite lacking internal resources/documentations. Good for retirment / stable job.
Cons
Low pay. My salary gone up 50% after a year not working with them. Can't imagine still living off that low pay. Bonus is a joke. Working for a big client for months and get a dozen US dollars for your work, plus half year of support from you only. They promise to do review at a certain time and write them on a paper, but it never happened. Perl is an outdated langauage. No version control. Yes. No git and code in vim. Very fun indeed. You'll learn very little for your career. Despite HK Team is very friendly and helpful, the UK Team gives no care to us and basically ignore everything from our side. Every time we need to resolve this either bringing the CEO/CTO to bear which is to say, ineffictive. Very little managment and so you need to figure everything yourself.
