Pros

Just read my cons. If I must put a pro, you are left alone for most of the day and a lot of the work is quite autonomous.

Cons

Datawind has since changed their name to Jeotex, likely due to their rep. - The company struggles to pay its employees on time, hand out tax slips on time, pay vacation balances when employees leave. - Mistakes in pay and deductions (it is also very difficult to deal with them to get this fixed) - Zero benefits, salary not at all competitive - Management does not treat its employees or outside parties with respect, and will act in their own best interest and cheat when they can (this leads to unethical behavior, and explains the huge turnover) - Definitely not at the forefront of technology or innovative workplace practices - Roles not clearly defined, no real leadership, no bigger picture. Just doing what you are told. - No corporate plan shared with employees, no one knows what is going on. Their behavior was honestly pretty abysmal - I was well liked at that company, made good friends with other colleagues, but really need to stand against this sketchy leadership that also pulls the strings behind Seneca and Innovative Solar Power. This string of organizations is an absolute mess, and management seems to jump from one to another, leaving trails of brutal debt and mistreatment. They were (barely still are) publicly traded, so you can do your research.
