Pros
One of the best things about working at Dataram is the complete open lines of communication. If you are sick of the corporate B.S. and red tape this is a great company to work for. You can be as honest and straightforward when you are talking to leaders, and there's not a million different useless processes to go through to get things accomplished. It's a small family like environment where everyone treats each other with respect and helps each other. No backstabbing here... if it's good for the company, everyone is willing to lend a hand to whomever asks. CEO is very involved in everything and always takes the time to listen to your ideas and is open to implementing changes. You can tell he really cares about each employee and wants us to succeed and to see the company continue to grow.
That's another good thing, the company is growing both with expanding product lines and bringing new people to the team. The interview process is long, and it's that way by design so everyone can make sure it's the right fit for an organization.
It's kind of a tough industry filled with competitors, but I like the challenge and it's not something that will ever go away.
Cons
PTO/WFH policies are lackluster. Since it is a smaller company, there aren't any clearly defined onboarding processes, which would be helpful for new employees. I do know they are working on that though with a new hire to help with those initiatives.
