Pros

Location is good I got good team mates

Cons

By seeing the overall rating in glassdoor I am shocked. As when I joined the rating was poor. So now I am understanding why Techjini was recruiting so many HR and what they are doing actually. But here I'll try to share my actual experience and feelings what I got when I was in Techjini(TJ). Work pressure / Work Culture: Being in IT industry we all know about the work pressure. In TJ you will get some extra level of pressure as maximum projects are for 1.5-2 months only. Most of the developers are freshers. They mostly work till mid night 2-3 AM (So freshers be careful. If you don't have any other options then only join). I have even seen experienced developers sitting in their place while leaving office at 9PM and sitting at the same place the next day at 9AM. Only couple of projects are there which are running from long time. There the condition might be better. Coming to the estimation part, all genius people will give the estimation. The estimation is so bad that from the day one you will be under pressure. For similar type of task in my previous company if we got 8 hours, here we get 2 hours. Now you can feel the pressure. From my own experience, for some task I got couple of hours. I did not know how to do this, so as per managers suggestion I approached the team of genius and asked then how to do it, as they have done some POC (In TJ I have not seen any complete POC. All are half done). Then they asked for some time to check and they took almost a week to suggest a proper the solution. That also they will ask you for R&D. But I got only couple of hours to complete the task. Now, from where I will be able to manage this extra time? You have to manage, so work late night and weekends and as mentioned earlier, no comp-off as you were not able to complete your assigned task. Policy: There is no policy for lady employee. If it is there also nobody follows. Lady employees are working late and how they will return, that is not company's responsibility. If you are going home also on time, then they will force you to work from home. So you should not have any personal life. In most of the projects you have to work on weekends and don't expect any comp-off for that as you were not able to finish the task on time and so you are working on weekends. Technology: TJ is working with many latest technologies. Now every one has their own future goal setup. But forget that, because your goal should match with company's goal as well. If you are a backend person, then they will give you frontend work. You should be ready to work on any technology like a geek without taking extra time, as you will be introduced to client as an experienced person. Leave: If you apply for leave means you are doing some sin. Getting approval of my own paid leave is so difficult. In between project, managers are not ready to approve any leave though you are informing well in advance. When the project is over then only you can get approved leave. Now how you will book your ticket and all? This your headache. So people prefer to take sick leave if short leave require and for 1 week leave pray to GOD or run and beg to managers or be ready for LOP. P.S: If you are still lucky enough & taking leave then your manager might ask you to compensate that by working on weekends. Innovation Team: This company has team of Technical Avengers named as "Innovation team". What they are supposed to do? If there are any technical challenges in any project, they are supposed to help. In case any blocker is there, the manager will ask to contact that team. What you will get? Some URLs, which you might have already checked. Even the freshers know what they do & don't want to approach them.

Pros

Everything they do is worse than their competitors.

Cons

Payment: Hired by Collegeboard to recruit and pay proctors for SAT exams. All of their competitors who also works for Collegeboard, such as CustomerHD, pays you the FULL alloted work time since you, the worker, reserved the time in your schedule. Datamatic is the ONLY recruiting service that pays by the hours working. I have confirmed this info with their fellow competitors. Poor Communication: Their emails are the only emails going into spams for any company I ever contact with. ALL of their contacts with me are Indians or Indians pretending to be Westerners, saying they are 'from Canada' but is actually not. Why lie? Their onboarding emails are filled with spams and unnecessary bloats. I have never seen a company that needs 5 separate people to manage onboarding remotely for something as simple as proctorship. They keep pinning one another in a long Gmail daisy chain it's embarassingly unprofessional. Complete Invasion of Privacy: They also consistently badgers you with tons of emails, their background check is one of the most invasive I have ever seen, and they don't even have a person based in the US (until the test day) to actually confirm the background checks. Their solutions in any issue is to badger you for a video call or something dumb, and they all have such a thick accent it's hard to understand. They would go to any length to contact you, like calling you or emailing you. They recruits people exclusively by cold dm-ing on LinkedIn; I got 3 recruiters from Datamatics all just cold dm-ing me for this one specific event, they are beyond predatory and opportunistic. Apps: They use ADP which is a terrible app. Despite needing the app to do sign ins and outs, they still demand you also do it on a sheet of paper as well. Incredibly inefficient.
