Pros

The technology itself has potential and could be valuable in the right hands. Some colleagues are talented and dedicated professionals.

Cons

Management Performance: Unfortunately, the management team in the Singapore office seems to struggle with effective leadership. There appears to be a lack of genuine engagement with employee concerns and a tendency to prioritize pleasing higher-ups rather than addressing team needs and feedback. Decision-Making: Decisions are often made without clear communication or transparency, leading to confusion and a lack of trust among staff. Employee Development: There is minimal support for professional growth or career advancement. Employees are left to navigate their development paths without much guidance or support from management. Work Culture: The work environment can be tense, with morale impacted by perceived favouritism and ineffective management practices. This atmosphere detracts from productivity and job satisfaction.

Thank you for sharing your feelings about your time at Dataiku. Firstly, we are happy that you see the potential in our product and people. However we're sorry to read that you felt frustrated. Although we've worked hard this year to improve communication about our strategy and ensure transparency about decisions it sounds like there's room for improvement in the APJ region. Our engagement survey, launched this year, is designed to better obtain employee feedback and understand what is needed to ensure a rewarding and fulfilling experience. With regards to career progression, while we are pleased to say we were able to successfully launch our levelling framework, we also know that this is just the first step in building a truly robust and transparent career path framework for Dataikers. We are continuing to explore the best ways to ensure career progression in a way that is meaningful and impactful for our teams. its just all cons these days

Cons

major culture shift and pressure on employees. The ship is going down and nobody can even admit its happening. I take daily calls for people that want to leave, but none of us can afford to leave and lose our equity.

it’s a job? i guess?

Cons

miserable to work here and the product is not strong. other giants in the industry are making this product redundant, and not worth the cost. features are not exciting to customers and they can easily complete the same objectives with other products who have longer standing credentials in the industry or by companies simply making similar functionalities themselves. its an uphill battle convincing any clients of the value of this, and its soul sucking to pedal AI all day. zero inspiration from leadership, huge eye roll every time they speak
