-severe favouritism with regards to account allocation i.e. unfair distribution which means only a handful of reps will be successful (if you’re non-british chances are even slimmer)
-unfair treatment of certain reps (widely discussed amongst reps), which subsequently resulted in their forced exits.
- clear discriminatory behaviour and bullying culture
- zero consideration from management that colleagues share their experiences (yes, we all talk) which has indirectly contributed in around 6 reps leaving since April 22
- lack of diversity - what was once an amazing diverse environment that was cultivated from previous leadership and amazing recruitment team has become the complete opposite. almost all reps from a minority background have left (definitely not a coincidence) I won’t be surprised if they try to rectify that to improve optics.
- severe toxic culture from SD’s, which for some reason is not being addressed by higher ups
- micromanagement: all calls are shadowed and you practically cannot type your own emails
- SD’s will place unnecessary sessions in the diary to “pretend” to help reps (fake enablement) when it’s just a ploy to look good infront of senior leadership - hopefully they can see through this facade
- reps feel uncomfortable going to SD’s for support and will exhaust every avenue to avoid having to ask them. Even asking reps who are not in the same region.
- other regions (globally) and external recruiters are aware of this growing reputation
- joining Datadog could potentially ruin your personal brand moving forward - which is a shame as the product and wider company functions.
