Pros

Datadog is by far one of the best companies I have worked for in my 24 year career. The CEO is engaged and constantly works to get the employees a balanced work life atmosphere. Their benefits are above and beyond most companies today. They offer fitness reimbursement , discounts and classes for yourself and family. Health wellness programs as well as other resources for more challenging issues. Internally it’s busy. The company is growing and that is great! Yes, your career will be challenging but will be appreciated and compensated. Everyone works as a team as if it was their own business and looks out for one another. On boarding was amazing and being done remote for now. They provide you with all the resources you need to work remotely until the office reopens. I feel valued and appreciated there. Looking for learn to a happy healthy career at Datadog!!!

Cons

No 401k company match or pension. Option to work remote partially for those who commute once returning to office.

Pros

Datadog has a strong product, smart coworkers, and a fast paced environment that teaches you a lot quickly. I learned a tremendous amount about observability, technical discovery, outbound prospecting, and how modern engineering organizations operate. The company has also gives reps exposure to large accounts and technical conversations early in their careers.

Cons

The ramp for newer AEs can feel steep, especially in a hgihly competitive outbound environment. Success often depends on timing, territory, pipeline momentum, and consistent coaching. There can also be a significant pressure tied to activity metrics and pipeline generations, which may be difficult for reps still developing confidence and process consistency.
