- Flexible work hours - Lots of training opportunities - Variation of work (if you want it) - Talented and friendly people - Free fruit and breakfast - Lots of social events and a nice culture
Cons
- Main building is in the center of town and is a huge pain to get to each day - Self management. There's no clear direction for your progression within Datacom. You are left to develop on your own - Pay isn't as high as other software shops. You have to fight for it - Managers all the way down - Your mileage may vary. Datacom is a big organisation and each team is run independently. While I won a great position in a fantastic team, there are others in the organisation who have not
