      Pros

      Freedom to choose when to work and where to work. Considering the country I'm in (Brazil), the pay rates are better than most other companies offering similar work. Periods with work to do have always lasted longer than periods with no work to do.

      Cons

      Insecurity, work might get repetitive. Little to no opportunity to grow inside the company, with no feedback on any eventual selection process.

      You can work your own hours. You learn a ton about different domains. You can rise and get higher worth projects by doing well on your current projects.

      Cons

      There is not much feedback or understanding of macro goals but comes with gig work. You can get let go super easily.
