DCI provides a great work/life balance. They understand the need to have a home life. It is a welcoming environment with a lot of knowledgeable employees. There is a lot of interdepartmental collaboration which is why I believe makes DCI successful. The retention of employees is very high.

There are not typically a lot of open positions, so it can be hard to get a chance to work for DCI.

Environment and culture is friendly and family-like. Everyone pulls together to help each other out - whether work-related or personal. The company has a great product and is different than it's competitors in the fact that it truly cares about it's customers and relationships. Other reviews mention no room for advancement. There is plenty of room for advancement as DCI grows. DCI has added additional positions for expanding departments. There are great opportunities coming at the management and senior management level as part of DCI's succession plans for filling spots of those nearing retirement. Those who come to DCI typically stay. DCI has a very long employee retention rate. There is not constant churn of employees which tells you the company treats it's employees well and makes it hard to leave. Great employee benefit package as well!

Project workload can be heavy at times but this can be looked at as a good thing, showing the constant innovation and opportunities to be kept busy and challenged. This is typically characteristic of any software development company.
