Pros

You get to work on excellent technology and an excellent work-life balance. The company has a large customer and user base. Leading position in CAD and PLM world. Highly diversified portfolio. Company executives show a good vision to all the employees and lead the company toward achieving it.

Cons

No career growth. I have seen top-performing employees staying at the same level for 15+ years. HR does not engage with the employees. I have been working here for the past 12 years and have only talked to my HR twice. Most policy, process, product definition, and development decisions happen in the company headquarters in Velizy, France, and NAM division rarely gets involved in the decision-making process, especially the ENOVIA brand. Your local management has no leverage in making their own decisions. Many of the senior management are replaced by relocated employees from France. You can quickly get the position or work you want if you are French enough. The company aspires to be in the top 10 places to work. But they cherry-pick the benefits they provide to compare with other companies. For example, the company's share of health insurance premiums continuously declining the past 10 years. The company has the potential to be the top company but is unwilling to spend on the employee's benefits. There is a big difference in salaries between R&D, Sales, Support, and Services.

Pros

This is a good place to get experience if you're interested in Aerospace, IT, Automotive, CAD, Engineering space. There are opportunities to learn and advance your career if you make the right connections.

Cons

Management is very unorganized due to constant shift in priorities. Be prepared to have a new manager assigned quarterly which will impact expectations for performance evaluations. This is a French company that manages business entities around the world. The US and French management are very disconnected. If you are assigned a manager who is based overseas, you will absolutely have a difficult time and minimal work life balance.
