Pros

(1)Good product - (2) I met some great, positive, and talented colleagues (other product demonstrators whom I am still in touch with) who also had valid complaints about Danmer's management style (or lack of style) complaints which to this day are still unresolved.

Cons

Terribly unfocused managers - poor pay - little room for advancement or raises - there are periods of no work if you are a product demonstrator/ambassador and no pay during those times. No set schedule when there is work - making it difficult to figure out what you will earn from month to month. Management is insecure and threatened by employee input. Horrible place to work if you are a go-getter and have good collaborative ideas to create more business. Should be a fun part-time job, but because of poor management with little (or no) team-building skills, the job becomes stressful and unsatisfying. No contact or follow-up with customers that you brought on board. Extremely Low commission for qualified leads.

Pros

Experienced marketing excellence generates qualified lead flow most of the time. Longtime, very competent installers. Good website. Best warranty. Shutter manufacturer (US) - not reseller. 40+ years. Longtime top salespeople. Many repeat clients.

Cons

High turnover at all levels of management. Up and down growth. Insufficient designer support. 100% commission job. Surprisingly frequent commissions errors.....slow to correct. Manufactures less expensive shutters for competitors in same locations...so you compete against yourself. High prices. Average delivery time. East Coast ownership is no longer in touch with Danmer's California local markets and doesn't offer competitive advantage.
