Pros
Flat managerial structure means minimal bureaucracy compared to equally sized corporations. The average worker may only be 5 managers removed from the CEO whereas a similar organization would be upwards of 20. Strong management retention. DBS approach works. Strong communication of business status to employees.
Cons
Use of pay cuts over furlough days. Non-existent raises for non-technical and technical positions regardless of performance. Management's carrot-and-stick approach to motivating employees, promising reward but never delivering.
