Pros
If you are a student, they are flexible with your schedule and you needing to complete assignments depending on the department you work in, If you live on campus, working on campus is obviously very convenient as well. The department I currently work in is very flexible and understanding of this.
Cons
DTS is notorious for paying people poorly. Especially as Dallas becomes more of an expensive place to live in, DTS will need to work on upping their pay if they want to attract and retain talented people. People in senior leadership roles tend to stay in their roles for a long time so promotion or moving up in a department can seem difficult.
