Pros

The learning experience was fairly good for an entry level role as you are given a variety of tasks.

Cons

Unfortunately, the culture was very toxic. One senior leader in particular would constantly yell at employees and created a hostile work environment. As a result, other senior employees began to mirror this behavior, and I noticed a significant decline in my mental health after working there for some time.

Pros

-Got to work in some nice offices -Good exposure/networking opportunities

Cons

-No company laptop provided -Upper management is condescending and misogynistic with their treatment of employees -On multiple occasions, witnessed managing partners berate and verbally bully junior employees publicly -No structured training given -Few advancement opportunities available -Poor work/life balance -Clients were very demanding and little support was provided by management -Spoke to multiple employees who worked prior and after my tenure and they all shared similar negative sentiments about managing partners

Pros

Pay was fine Good view from in the office window Good opportunity to work from home

Cons

Company expects employees to bring their own computer. This was the first red flag. Most non-profit organization or internships don't do this. Client data is accessed on your personal computer. Again, wild. Little training is provided for new hires. Expectations are high, work life balance is crap. I've seen senior managers yell and swear at junior employees. In front of people, on a regular basis. It wasn't a one off thing, it was a regular occurrence.
