Pros

Laid back and flexible when needed. Work is easy to do other then the cons listed below.

Cons

Deal with a lot of inexperienced people trying to run machines that have no schooling or experience doing the type of work with the type of machines. People get trained by non experienced people making the training less effective. A lot of scraping parts due to it and easily to turn around and be the programmer that gets blamed for it all when the people at the machine should be good enough to know if something isn’t right and stop it before it breaks a tool or scrapes a part. Hard part is the programmer has to be perfect at what they do to account for that but the software that is used is way off from having configurations the way it should be and you can’t do nothing to make it better due to someone that is above you not letting you to make changes and there way is old school and not as effective as it can and should be. Nothing but routine writing programs this way and should be different every time as every part situation is different and can’t go by one set speed for one tool. This is what it’s like on a day basis for a salary person. Hourly you just show up and do your job and you be fine but salary people have all this to deal with. Almost to much of a care free place and get away with everything kind of place.

Pros

Its in a nice building

Cons

Insane lack of communication; left alone after 3 hours on my first day. Did the work they wanted but not fast enough and they had a backup waiting to take my place and were not coy or secretive about that whatsoever. Was told not to bring lunch my first day. So I didn't bring lunch my first day. They did not provide lunch on my first day. I went out and bought food and then came back and worked alone the rest of the day. My trainer had retired years prior from a different company and couldn't understand that a PDF could be opened more than one way. What a relief I did not stick around. Oh yeah and I got very sick when they called to lay me off, but they needed their stuff back. Do you think they sent a courier? Nah. I went in thd next day, still sick, and waited over 10 minutes until hopping the security gate because no one was there AND I WAS SICK. Yeah, shortly after I received my positive COVID results. Welp, that about sums up my short stint at this place. Legal dept was completely chaotic. Also the open floorplan was awful during covid.
