Pros

Good benefits & Unlimited commission Hands off leadership, bordering on uninterested

Cons

No territory structure and hence any worthwhile client claimed by senior sales rep irrespective of location. I was given 9 limping accounts in all of Austin and instructed to close one upon receiving it. Leadership is vague and passive aggressive with no field support. Other than 2 weeks of structured training you are largely left to fin for yourself in figuring out both the role and an extremely complicated Sales Force process. This would be surmountable with open communication and positive leadership but both were non-existent. Understaffed technicians (which is not Daikin's fault) creates a backlog of customers waiting service, hence huge commission delays for Sales team On more than 2 occasions middle management openly criticizes their manager within my first month of hiring Alignment of sales vision of company,-do you apply Sandler Sales training or not? This training was invaluable and yet my manager had no idea about it, Pick a lane and be consistent Exit interview promised but never eventuated

Pros

Its in a nice building

Cons

Insane lack of communication; left alone after 3 hours on my first day. Did the work they wanted but not fast enough and they had a backup waiting to take my place and were not coy or secretive about that whatsoever. Was told not to bring lunch my first day. So I didn't bring lunch my first day. They did not provide lunch on my first day. I went out and bought food and then came back and worked alone the rest of the day. My trainer had retired years prior from a different company and couldn't understand that a PDF could be opened more than one way. What a relief I did not stick around. Oh yeah and I got very sick when they called to lay me off, but they needed their stuff back. Do you think they sent a courier? Nah. I went in thd next day, still sick, and waited over 10 minutes until hopping the security gate because no one was there AND I WAS SICK. Yeah, shortly after I received my positive COVID results. Welp, that about sums up my short stint at this place. Legal dept was completely chaotic. Also the open floorplan was awful during covid.
