Pros
* Full-time benefits. Their benefits are great and come with perks. * Training available through their own customized online courses as well as certification courses provided sometimes out-of-state depending on your job function.
Cons
* Management staff (especially in the area where I worked at: Dream Team, Region 1, Wild West) did not grasp the concept of being able to empathize with their employees' needs, issues/complaints, etc. They handled everything from a more business perspective, swaying more on what helps the business grow instead of balancing it out to the point where it also helps to foster positive relationships amongst their staff. A lot of FA's with the exception of one or two had no clue how to get their staff morale up. Conflict resolutions were biased in the favor of making the FA appear better than their staff. Shady business practices was rampant. It's like the big-wigs just sat behind a desk and held meeting all day and didn't or selectively-listened to complaints/issues of their team. DaVita has an extremely high turnover rate. A lot of employees leave and join other competing companies because DaVita is SO big, it can actually pay their employees LESS - in every job function. They DON'T compensate you more when they assign you more work - and by "more work" I'm describing additional tasks on a consistent basis to the point that if AND when you don't finish, you get questioned. And EVEN if you explain to your boss how and why you couldn't get the job done on time, THEY DON'T BELIEVE and instead RELISH in their own management positions and simply reply back with a, "When WILL it get done?" when they should've been asking you "What help do you need?" They cram so much work down your throat and you don't feel the appreciation from you teammates.
