Pros

The company really care about their people. The company exercise their values and culture from the top down. The company is very open to ideas and continuous improvement. The company allows for growth and development. The company is good about work life balance.

Cons

The base pay is in the lower 10 percentile, pretty much across the board (I've had viability to the salary budgets). Bonuses are low if given at all and even if negotiated higher, is still subjected to the bonus pool at the end of the year, regardless of your performance and outcomes. Profit sharing is non substantial and used more so as a sales pitch for benefits. As in any company this size, there are incompetent leaders sprinkled in.

Pros

Stable company to work for with great benefits. DaVita offers tuition reimbursement, so it pays to go back to school and get a degree. They also help with career advancement and development.

Cons

If you are new to dialysis, it may take a while to reach a decent wage. You are required to work 12 hour shifts, mostly on your feet, and managers will always look to add to your workload.

Pros

Management supports a work-life balance, hours are flexible, okay benefits. Good training opportunities and there is effort by management to support a good work culture. 6 weeks at 80% of pay Paternity/Maternity & Adoption leave. 401K with 6% matching. For 2 adults, we pay for Davita's Anthem BCBS healthcare plan and it is $350/month (4,700 deductible).

Cons

Payscale isn't aggressive - 1% raise each year. You also may be asked to cover other clinics temporarily without fair compensation for the extra workload.
