Pros

-Really good work experience for junior and offshore folks; for better and worse, given the ability to make an impact on a global basis -Initial salary was very competitive -As far as I have seen, managers are very supportive of their direct reports, and immediate teams are very friendly to work with -Work from home

Cons

-Upper management doesn't have a unifying strategy beyond how to boost the stock price -Management has instituted a whole lot of process for process sake that leads the workforce to check boxes and not focus on delivering proposals/products with real value -Workforce is a mix of work martyrs with no work/life balance and highly apathetic individuals; this nonexistent culture helps push the highest quality performers to leave within a few years of joining -Company is overtly oriented around deal pursuit cycles that are highly stressful and extremely inefficient (i.e., redundant daily calls, repetitive yet fixable solutioning issues, lots of politicking between functional groups supporting deals) -Initial competitive salary becomes quickly offset due to the company not giving COLA adjustments -Unless you are in upper management or have other job offers on the table, don't expect to receive a raise in pay/title -The few perks that existed continue to be wiped away - e.g., no travel or mobile device unless you're sales/management; paid time off swapped out for flexible vacation. Given IBM just recently ended work from home, expect DXC to do the same in the next 1-2 years as an additional route towards reducing its workforce

Pros

Company just born out of a merger of CSC and the old EDS spun off by HPE Seems to be a good match of size and capabilities A lot more business opportunities, a much larger sales and delivery capability Great people in the trenches, smart, talented, experienced Stock price through the roof for three years straight...but options no longer given out to employees Brilliant CTO

Cons

Same CEO as CSC, which means no raises or bonuses, constant cutting (value retention) Drive for more off-shoring, landed resources (Indians brought to America on bogus visa justifications, for six month intervals). Replacing people with software as fast as possible Replacing experienced people with inexperienced people as fast as possible Ridiculous sales goals set by people who have never sold anything in their lives
