Pros

The insurance benefits as the company continued to grow. Any technology needed was offered if you knew how to operate.

Cons

As a company grows changes were made rapidly with little explanation from the some of the upper management. Some , not all; managers were very prone to forming cliques. It was not always easy to communicate with them and trust that when you did it would remain confidential. I don’t believe that everything was always truthfully told when you requested something be relayed to the CEO. Overwhelming amount of work added by some managers. Unclear what was expected at times and what was or was not was not allowed.

Pros

There are people who work for them that care about WHY they do what they do.

Cons

Management team is toxic. They only want to impress the CEO and will do anything for his approval. They do not admit to their own mistakes. They will throw them off on the honest person who goes above and beyond in all they do instead of owning their mistakes themselves. Management will also take credit for your hard work. You can believe in yourself, believe in your work, believe in why you are doing what you do but at the end of the day no one cares about all you have put into your job. They only care about how they appear to executives. I have never worked in such a cutthroat toxic environment. It is the good ole boy system at best. This does not apply to all directors or management. However, the ones it does apply to have been there for many years and they are the ones part of the good ole boy system. I have witnessed a manager screaming at an employee in front of everyone. The girl was just attempting to do her job. It was all I could do to not rise up and defend her. It is very cliquish. If you choose not to be a part of the clique, you probably will not be there very long. If you work there, it is best you go in and do not talk to anyone because whatever you say to another can and will be used against you eventually unless you are a part of their clique. It is very sad. There are numerous GREAT INDIVIDUALS who work there. In my opinion, they had rather let a great employee go than to correct their issues with their toxic management. Also, if you are good at what you do, you will be spread so thin it isn't healthy. If you hire on to work remote, your salary is competitive with the market. If you work locally, they will pay you local pay. If you work locally and are good at what you do, they will hire someone remote and pay them more than you. They started a good thing in their beginning but what they are ending up with is not so great. I would look elsewhere.
