• Unrealistic project deadlines. • No Flexible working. • Micromanagement. • Ethnic or Racial Slurs in the Workplace • Daily check-ups from the CEO. • Blame culture.

Pros

+ Good salary and arguably free pizza every month

Cons

- No official flexitime policy; - 2-weeks notice must be given before taking annual leave; - Micro-management is rife and HR is corrupt; you`ll not receive the same level of treatment or protection if you are not the CEOs son or girlfriend - you are a second-class citizen. - An unhealthy preoccupation of CCTV surveillance in the office (CEO has unfounded insecurities); - The CEO provides poor direction and has no leadership qualities; - HR typically responds in a very dismissive and condescending tone to reasonable concerns i.e, health & safety issues and company direction.

Cons

- In line with the company’s surveillance-culture, you must drive to your desktop/Laptop everyday to be monitored by CCTV. This is the policy, despite a successful business year working remotely without incident. Therefore, expect the unnecessary fuel expense and additional fatigue from the early morning commute to your desk - not smart! -No flexitime. You are expected to start on the hour, be that 8oclock or 9oclock. What is there that must begin on the hour and not lets say, 3 minutes past the hour? Nothing. Not smart! - No half day on a Friday -Taking time-off comes with restrictions. To request time-off, you must give notification two weeks in advance of the day requested off. You cannot take time-off either 1-week before and after the christmas / new year holiday period. -Sea gulls during the summer months tend to nest on the roof of the building complex. To ward off potential predators, they tend to swoop low over your heads and may occasionally defecate on your car. -Management tend to turn a blind eye or bend over backwards to conceal any wrongdoing that a partner, or family member of the director makes. Needless to say, they do not extend that courtesy to other employees. - Micromanagement
