Pros

Vehicle allowance & gas card

Cons

Flat organization that isn't so flat. Management does a poor job in notifying the Business Unit of behind closed doors promotions and who is to take a lead. Tends to be a lot of cowboys and not enough Indians. Roles and responsibilities were blurred during my time there; however, my projects in both GA and FL led the region in schedule health and discipline. TLDR: Know who you "report" to and what tasks are involved in the daily.

Pros

DPR is an outstanding place to work, with a strong people-first culture that truly sets it apart in the construction industry. The company emphasizes collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement, creating an environment where employees feel valued and supported. Leadership is approachable and transparent, and there’s a genuine commitment to developing individuals both professionally and personally. The work itself is engaging and impactful, especially if you enjoy complex, technical, high-quality projects. DPR empowers its teams with trust and autonomy while still providing the resources needed to succeed. There’s also a strong focus on innovation, safety, and doing things the right way, which makes the work feel meaningful. Overall, it’s a great place to build a career, grow your skill set, and be part of a team that takes pride in what they do.

Cons

Fast-paced environment (construction industry in general) may not be for everyone.
