Pros

Friendly architectural staff, many who are compassionate about their work. Great location. Up to speed on the latest technologies. Free parking.

Cons

Healthcare is primary clientele, and once you are in, you are in; even if you ask to branch out. Design is not seen as something that is first and foremost in a project. Many projects become only about fee and determining the cheapest way to complete a project. No break room for interacting with peers, so you eat lunch out (I usually do this) or you eat in front of your computer.

Pros

EDIT: Last year of employment = 2016. Coworkers are knowledgeable and easy to work with. Excellent location in the heart of Scottsdale. Fun restaurant projects. Small firm, so you get to wear a lot of hats and figure out what a lot of your strengths and weaknesses are. Half day Fridays.

Cons

Very weak PTO / Sick policy

Pros

none, this place is honestly that bad

Cons

This is honestly one of the worst architectural offices I have ever worked in. There are a few decent people there but the 'leadership' for lack of a better term will try to quell any communication between you. These are incredibly sick and sad people. Run as fast as you can.
