work life balance is okay, pay is okay.

The workplace is dominated by office politics and favoritism. Even if you don’t engage or care about these individuals, they will still talk about you. Some employees mix personal issues into work and make cynical jokes if they learn something about you. They act polite in person but behave differently behind your back. I initially thought this only happened to me, but I later saw the same feedback from others. Management could do more to address and manage this behavior.

The bosses are good except they favour their favourite few toxic employees too much

you will still suffer working in this company because you have to deal with these toxic employees that will try to bring you down instead of helping you with your new job.
