Pros

DNSFilter is a place for people who want to be challenged, grow quickly, and make a real impact. The mission is meaningful, the people are smart, and there is a strong culture of candid feedback and continuous improvement. Leadership encourages debate, listens to good ideas regardless of title, and is willing to adapt when presented with better information. Those who embrace the challenge tend to thrive.

Cons

This environment is not for everyone. Expectations are high, accountability matters, and ideas are regularly challenged. People looking for a slower-paced environment or constant validation may find the culture uncomfortable. Like any growing company, there are growing pains and changes in priorities as the business scales.

Pros

I had an outstanding experience with DNSFilter from start to finish. The interview process was straightforward, transparent, and genuinely enjoyable. Everyone I met was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and excited about the work they’re doing. The onboarding was thorough and well organized, making it easy to feel set up for success right away. The sales team especially stands out — amazing, supportive, friendly, and truly team-oriented. There’s a strong sense of community across the organization, and the office has such a lively, positive energy that makes coming to work something you actually look forward to. I genuinely feel like I’ve found my home here. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Pros

- Remote work - unless you're in Tampa, FL because there's an office there now after an acquisition - Yearly company offsite in a tropical spot - Unlimited PTO - Home office buildout allotment - Outside of leadership, the people you work with are great. Passionate about what they do and very smart.

Cons

- Got rid of Flex Fridays (every other week was a 4-day week, took it away after 5 years due to the company not meeting its goals). This was a major benefit that helped employees in other ways like reducing daycare costs, being able to take trips without taking special PTO, helped with work/life balance, etc. Gone. - ELT turnover (most recently the second CMO leaving after only a year, added a CRO), CFO has only been here a year, CPO less than a year, CTO a little over a year - Toxic leadership from CEO across the board—called the entire company "sloppy, sad, pathetic" on an all-hands call and never apologized. - The company sponsors an IndyCar driver despite pushing financial efficiency in other areas (it SEEMS like the CEO just wants to go to races and he hired his wife to be "Race Supervisor/Alliances Evangelist" so she can go too). Sponsoring something so expensive just doesn't seem to be what a company struggling to meet its goals should do. - Health insurance is really expensive if you have dependents and cost is going up. - Frequent leadership turnover, product team not meeting their deadlines, trying the same tactics over and over to see if they'll work with new leadership is just the definition of insanity.
