Pros

All back office people are great. Potential to work on big projects of various types of buildings. The try to get employee suggestions and implement them.

Cons

Whether you are licensed or not, you are called a Project architect. Easily to get stuck working on projects you don't like with little ability for advancement. One of partners extremely sexist and unhelpful. Old school mentality where they wanted everyone in the office and little consideration for families. When hired, I was promised a flexible schedule and was then expected to work from 8:30 until 6 most days. Studio is extremely quiet and teamwork doesn't really happen.

Pros

Although same industry the dynamic of DMR was different from my previous experience. Working at DMR was more independent not as micro managed as my previous jobs. Working from home most of the week was new and something I enjoyed. My coworker when I was in the office was another reason I enjoyed working there.

Cons

Not seeing the big picture even though have been in the industry for decades. The knowledge that it takes time to grow an account especially a new account to the company.
