Pros

Company car if over 25

Cons

The York site is poorly managed and disorganized from top to bottom. While I understand that every employee has to start somewhere, it’s clear that the trainees are not receiving the adequate mentoring or training they need. A significant portion of sales team are trainees which leads to a lack of direction and inefficiency. The sales process feels outdated, with staff frequently needing to revisit basic details like pricing and finance options multiple times sometimes up to four times over small discrepancies. This results in frustrated customers, high walk out rates and a general sense of dissatisfaction. Additionally, many customers are being pushed into finance products they don’t need or want, which is further contributing to negative feedback. The uniform policy is another point of contention. Employees are required to wear only a black suit with a tartan tie, which feels restrictive and lacks any room for personal expression or individuality. Given the expectation of working six days a week, employees are essentially required to purchase at least three identical suits, which feels both impractical and unreasonable. Overall, there’s a clear need for improvement in both the work environment and the customer experience.

Pros

When I worked the business increased very rapidly and being a small team the pressure was intense given it was my 1st full time job in UK. Thanks to my colleagues they helped me a lot, from the very 1st interview to the very last day i enjoyed my time. Met with some amazing people. The Directors are great people to work with and they make you feel very welcome

Cons

Every job comes with some cons so did this, as a core marketer i hated how us as a department had to prove everyday that we were doing our jobs well. Sometimes it felt unnecessary pressure which could have been avoided. As an immigrant i felt there was a bit of a different treatment/ expectation from me compared to my colleagues. Basically no benefits at all.
