Good working environment - Associate DM Hall Employee Review

Company car, pension, mostly friendly staff

Stressful, basic statutory holidays, bare minimum statutory sick pay, managers need to be trained in how to manage other people, no flexibility to work remotely, outdated company. Do not trust their staff to work independently.

Shawlands location- close to train station, lots of eateries and pubs. The role was interesting- intricate knowledge of sector required- steep learning curve but varied. Client contact- daily contact from clients was great- opportunity to speak to some lovely people The Staff- professionally qualified staff appeared to recognise the need for inclusivity, as did upper management. They were professionally courteous as you would expect.

I had a negative experience a DM Hall due to unprofessional behaviour from a colleague in the administrative team. While this is not reflective of the business as a whole or the professionalism of the chartered surveyors that are main component of the work force I am disappointed at the commentary & behaviour demonstrated to me. There was a consistent use of profanity from office staff which I wouldn't have expected from a company with such a good reputation as DM Hall.
