Pros
A steady paycheck, nothing more.
Cons
The curriculum isn't effective, innovative, or accurate. Books haven't been updated in 30 years. Leadership is dismissive of every single suggestion to improve working conditions. There is no unitary cohesion; staff members form cliques and new employees are often treated like garbage. Supervisors don't offer useful feedback on ANYTHING, but choose to micromanage and use anything they can to threaten, harass and intimidate staff. If I had known any of this before I came here, I never would have left my previous job. This seriously is the worst, most hostile and most absurdly stressful workplaces I've seen in 20 years. Leadership should be ashamed of itself, but it won't be, because shame is a moral construct, and shame does no one any good when all that matters is stabbing subordinates in the back in order to get promoted. If you get hired here, obtain an attorney- suing the tar out of leadership is the only way you can be assured that your continued employment is guaranteed.
